Another huge week of esports will take place in the week beginning May 15, 2023, with Counter-Strike Global Offensive and League of Legends maintaining centre stage.

The last and final ever CS:GO Major will continue on Monday, May 15, with the Legends Stage of the BLAST.tv Paris Major now in full swing. The remaining teams will be fighting it out for their share in the $1.25 million prize pool and the right to be named the final CS:GO Major champion.

Meanwhile, the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational will also continue this week, with the final week of the Bracket Stage continuing on Tuesday, May 16.

Most esports betting sites have JD Gaming as the $2.20 favourite to take out the LoL MSI title, with the T1 just behind them ($2.25) in the future betting markets.

Some of the key leagues and tournaments taking place in the esports world this week include:

  • BLAST.tv Paris Major

The BLAST.tv Paris Major will continue this Monday, with 16 of the best Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams competing for the US$1,250,000 prize pool. The BLAST.tv Paris Major will make history for two specific reasons as it will be the first Counter-Strike Major that BLAST will host and organise, and the Major will be the very last one to be played on the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive game before we switch over to Counter-Strike 2. • League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational

The Mid-Season Invitational will continue this week, with the main event and bracket stage continuing May 16, with only six more series left before we find out who will be crowned the 2023 League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational champion.
