?KT Rolster and Hanwha Life Esports are priced fairly evenly for this match, which makes a lot of sense. Both teams have been good but not great on the season and share the same 3-5 record after four weeks of play.
Hanwha Life Esports enter this match after winning both of their LCK 2021 Summer Week 4 bouts against DRX (2-0) and Nongshim RedForce (2-1), whereas KT Rolster lost to T1 (1-2) and won against Fredit BRION (2-0).
Even though HLE are on a two-game winning streak, they weren’t very impressive in their showings, and it’s hard to praise them too much for winning against the awful DRX and the over-performing RedForce. KT are by no means a top-tier team, but they have at least done well against LCK top dogs in DWG KIA (2-0), Gen.G (1-2), and T1 (1-2).
HLE might have one of the best mid laners in the world in Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon, but he is realistically the only good player on the team. We will side with the more well-rounded roster.

?Neither team is very good, but the difference is that DRX are outright terrible. They’re 0-8 on the season with a 16% map win rate (3-16); Fredit BRION are 3-5 on the season with a 45% map win rate (9-11).
And you can’t even defend DRX for their showings. They haven’t faced any top team of late, and their only three map wins came against Liiv SANDBOX, Nongshim RedForce, and Gen.G, who were still stumbling a bit early into the season.
Fredit BRION have issues, but they’re not as flawed as DRX, and are arguably a much better team. We like Fredit BRION’s chances to sweep DRX on Thursday.
